So if you aren't sure whether it's a good investment, maybe just ask them to pay for development in order for them to be able to gain back market share. If I were Mircosoft (or HP or anyone of them) I'd be offering you a lot of money to go multi-plattform. I think you really need to understand that the huge value your app creates could actually be captured by GoodNotes not Apple if you went multi-plattform. And even if GoodNotes, or only the Windows version of GoodNotes wouldn't have been 8.99€ but 199€ it still would have been a hell of a good deal. If I could have used GoodNotes on that device I wouldn't have spent 1,000€ on an iPad.
